Following is a listing of the Java applets used in class.  You must have Java installed on your computer to view and use these applets.  To get Java, click on the Java picture above.

Projectile Motion Java applet. - Examine the effect changes in velocity have on the distance of a projectile shot from a cannon.

Reaction Time Java applet. - Test your reaction time using this Java applet.

Reaction Time and Stopping Distance - Use this Java applet to examine the effect speed and reaction time have on automobile stopping distance.

Traffic Light System Java applet - Perform a little urban planning experiment using this applet.

Straight Line Java applet - Manipulate a linear graph by modifying the slope and y-intercept.

Parabola Java applet. - Manipulate a parabola by modifying the values for a, b and c.

The Theorem of Pythagoras Java applet - A graphical representation of the famous theorem explaining how the Chinese discovered the same theorem much earlier than Pythagoras.

Famous Curves Applet Index - Interactive Java applets for algebraic and geometric curves.

Physics Applets On-Line - Home of many great Java applets with a mathematics and physics basis.

Satellite Orbit Java applet. - Put your very own satellite into orbit, without it crashing or escaping, while studying the effect of velocity vectors on orbital motion.

Electron Orbit Java applet. - Put an electron into orbit around a proton by generating a stable elliptical orbit using velocity vectors.

Launching STARDUST - A great site where you must compute the thrust required to launch the STARDUST satellite into orbit.  A Java applet then displays the success of failure your orbital thrust calculations.
